Native Cloud Systems is taking a radical approach to making cloud computing secure and reliable by rethinking distributed computing from the ground, up. Cloud computing infrastructure today is constructed from the same web server and application architectures that that web developers have been using for more than a decade. These legacy web systems are simply not designed to be a secure and effective foundation for massively distributed computing, and recent outages at major cloud providers and security breaches at popular cloud-based SaaS services are just a couple of the signs that the foundation needs to be rebuilt. To that end, we have created the world’s first truly Native Cloud OSTM and application development environment for unprecedented security, reliability, scalability, and performance in the cloud. While parts of our technology are still in development, we are already building test applications in our proprietary Native Cloud Language on our own infrastructure layer, and we're working with early alpha sites to explore different application spaces and gather feedback to inform further development. We'll be opening beta development tools to a broader audience by the end of 2011 through an open community forum where those interested in learning and using NCS technology can sign up to access open tool sets, free developer sandboxes, reference materials, tutorials, and community support. |
